There are a few shapes that use "Fig" in their shape name.  Prior to researching the Kew registry at Kew Gardens, a shape by Davenport and J. Wedgwood was called Fig.  The registry indicated the potter had named that shape "Union Shape".  To aleve confusion we now call the shape Union Shape (Fig).  Ralph Scragg, a modeler, named his shape Fig and licensed it to several potters.
