Notes

Hanging Arch was registered in 1858. It would have been made after James Edwards commenced business with his son and the business became known as James Edwards & Son.  Some items are marked "James Edwards & Son" and others are simply marked "James Edwards". James Edwards continued to mark some ironstone without the "& Son" until the 1860's.
