Notes

D. Chetwynd was a modeler in Cobridge.  In 1855 he designed Baltic Shape which was franchised to many potters who used the design as it was drawn or made modifications to the design for their own production.

In 1866 Elijah and David Chetwynd became partners in the firm Cockson & Chetwynd and in 1872 David Chetwynd left the business. It is unclear if David Chetwynd is the D. Chetwynd who registered Baltic Shape.
