Pitcher - High Relief
Notes
The pitcher is named "Gipsey," which is the historical spelling of the word Gypsy, referring to traveling or nomadic people. The mark indicated it was published July 1, 1842. Although this is after the time when designs could be registered at the Kew patent office, this pitcher was never registered formally. Samuel Alcock & Co. also made a version of this pitcher most likely after Jones & Walley.
