Notes
George Ray is an obscure Longton potter who produced ware in the 1840's and 1850's. He registered two high relief pitchers/jugs. The pitcher known as Dancers or The Polka was registered April 21, 1852. A pitcher that depicts a bird nest with chicks being fed by the adult birds was registered October 31, 1854. Pieces were simply marked with the registry diamond. Many were decorated.
